About the Artist
I personally beachcomb, design and make all the Lucky Sea Glass jewelry. I have collected sea glass from around the world, including Hawaii, California, Florida, Ohio, Spain, Puerto Rico, Antarctica, Arctic Norway, and South America. I am able to travel, luckily, because I retired after almost thirty years as a school psychologist in the public schools in Virginia. I hope that your Lucky Sea Glass jewelry will bring you peace and good luck, too!
I am happy to custom design with your own sea glass treasure. Many of my original designs include gemstones, sterling silver or 14K gold filled wire or copper wire, Swarovski crystals, freshwater pearls. All Lucky Sea Glass Jewelry is made with genuine beachcombed, natural sea glass that I have personally found. The sea glass is not tumbled, treated, or polished except by the seas. You can follow my blog -- Travels and Sea Glass (the link is on the Lucky Sea Glass page of this website) to see travel pictures and news.
I am happy to work with you to create a truly special, lucky piece of jewelry, perhaps a souvenir of a happy place you visited or celebrated an event. I am an experienced, mostly self-taught jewelry artist, but my inspirations come from some unknown place. Each piece of Lucky Sea Glass is unique, not to be found anywhere else. I have knitted, crocheted, painted, and created original designs my entire life, but now with seaglass have found my true passion. I feel very lucky, and I have found that my customers often feel lucky, too when they wear Lucky Sea Glass.
A Lucky Sea Glass pendant was featured in a book about Glass Beach near Fort Bragg, California. It's called Glass Beach: A Seaglass Lover's Paradise by Lisa Walker. Also, several articles I have written about sea glass are available on line. Links and information are elsewhere on this site. Lucky Sea Glass Jewelry is well respected among sea glass collectors and artists and I am a member of the North American Sea Glass Association.
Lucky Sea Glass jewelry is collected by customers throughout the world, including the United States, France, and Australia. In the U.S., collectors are from California to New York and places in between such as Kansas, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Jersey, North Carolina, Illinois, Tennessee, and Massachusetts are enjoying Lucky Sea Glass jewelry.
Thanks for visiting Lucky Sea Glass.
